Woodstock, Ont., September 10, 2024 – Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show opened today with a lineup of visitors waiting to experience the latest in agriculture through hands-on demonstrations and events.
Ontario’s largest outdoor farm show features 100+ acres of outdoor trade show exhibits from over 600 companies and takes place over three days, September 10, 11 and 12. There are dozens of agriculture-focused events, plus tours and demonstrations throughout the site. The outdoor farm show has been highlighting the latest agriculture innovations from leading companies for 31 years.
“This is an exciting show to attend, and it’s an Ontario tradition,” says Rob O’Connor, business development lead and show director for Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show. “It’s where farmers come every year to meet friends and neighbours, look at hundreds of products in once place, and see how farm and livestock equipment works in real situations.”
Agriculture technology is a key feature of the outdoor farm show every year, with companies showcasing new products and services at the show. At last night’s Innovation in Agriculture Reception, winners in the Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show Innovations Program, supported by Ontario’s Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness (OMAFA), were announced:

- CATTLEytics Inc. | Moo To Do Farm Task Management System in the category of Business Solutions
- LEMKEN Canada Inc. | Solitair DT Seedbed Prepping Seeder in the category of Environmental Sustainability
- C. Duke Equipment Ltd. | Altoz Switch in the category of Equipment
- BioFerScience Inc. | ProFlora Cattle Energy-Balance Capsule in the category of Livestock
“These companies are all participating in the show so farmers can meet with representatives directly to discuss what’s new in agriculture,” says O’Connor. “It’s an ideal way to see the new technologies being developed by their favourite companies and see many new startups bringing fresh to ideas to our industry.
Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily on September 10-12, 2024 in Woodstock, Ont. The show attracts visitors from across Canada, the United States and Europe.
