Finding Fairness in Farm Transition Elaine Froese is a certified farm family coach, farm advisor and mediator. She empowers families and gives them the tools to have regular constructive communication to ensure the legacy of their farms. Elaine’s book, Building Your Farm Legacy is designed to help families have better communication, improved conflict resolution and solutions. Elaine will be presenting ‘Finding Fairness in Farm Transition’ at Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show. This presentation will help farm families to understand how to be FAIR during the farm transition. Farmers will walk away knowing how to ask powerful questions to uncover what fairness means to each person involved in the transition and have a better understanding of conflict resolution within the family.

Elaine teaches the FAIR approach, which includes Financial transparency, Attitudes towards money, Intentions and Roles and rebels approaches. She will be speaking in-depth about how each of these topics contributes to a fair transition, and how to incorporate them on your family farm. This presentation will give your family the tools to tackle the farm transition in a healthy and fair approach. Elaine Froese will be presenting ‘Finding Fairness in Farm Transition’ on Tuesday, September 11 at 2:00 p.m. in the Farmers Edge Knowledge Tent, presented by Farmtario and Country Guide.
