Spread across 150 acres of prime farmland in Ontario’s Oxford County, the Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show site is big. With over 750 exhibitors and 40,000 attendees, multiple field demonstrations and crop plots, the space is needed. The acquisition of the property across the street and the new Southeast Mall make way for even more exhibit and parking space.
To help attendees get around, the show has a number of people-movers as well as an internal shuttle. The people-movers, sponsored by Brevant seeds and Enlist E3 Soybeans, will be on hand daily to take attendees to and from the parking lots, while the internal shuttle, sponsored by Corteva Agriscience™, moves throughout the show site.
The vehicles would not be able to get around without the people who operate them. Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show welcomes many community organization volunteers and others from the area who help operate the machines.
“We are extremely grateful for our people-movers and internal shuttle,” says Doug Wagner, President of Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show. “They are a very important part of the show, and help move over 40,000 attendees around the site. The volunteers who run the shuttle are a vital piece of the team at Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show.”
Whether attendees want to get to and from different exhibits, to field demos, or back to their cars after a full day at the show, the people-movers and internal shuttle are there to assist.
