Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show will not proceed as large, in-person event

Jul 6, 2021 | News

Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show as a large, in-person event will not be moving forward in 2021. As previously released, the team has been exploring the opportunity to proceed with the in-person event this year, including scenario planning and engaging with public health officials and provincial governments. Through this exploration, it has been determined that it is not viable to produce an in-person event this year, given the lingering state of the pandemic and vaccine rollout. As always, the safety of guests, exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers and staff, suppliers, and local communities is of the utmost importance. While it is encouraging to see the province entering Stage 2 of its re-opening strategy, the timing makes it impossible to plan and execute the event.

Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show digital event days will continue as planned. Digital event details can be found here.

Discovery Farm Woodstock, home of Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show, will be fully operational, and the team is planning to move forward with very small in-person events (suitable to the Public Health order of the day) and make the facility available to rent.

The team at Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show looks forward to welcoming farmers, employees, exhibitors, sponsors, and suppliers back in 2022.
