Equipment demonstrations

At Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show, equipment demonstrations showcase the latest innovations in agricultural machinery. These demonstrations provide farmers with an opportunity to see up close how different equipment performs in the field.

What's planned:

Drone Demonstrations

Drone exhibitors take full advantage of wide-open fields to show what their machines can do. Get up close to watch manufacturers put their drone gear through its paces.

Exhibitor Demonstrations

Evolution of Farming Demonstration – Autonomous Equipment in Action: Haggerty AgRobotics is back in the West Demo Field giving live demonstrations for several pieces of autonomous equipment including electric robots that seed and weed delicate horticulture crops.

Easy-Kleen Power Washer: A demonstration of how efficient high-pressure cleaning systems can be used on the farm.

Forage Demonstrations

Day 1 and 2 Baling: The value of a good crop of hay, the cost of growing it and the uncertainty of Ontario’s weather means you need to harvest as quickly as possible. Check out the latest square baler at this year’s Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show to learn about best options for getting forage off the field efficiently.

Day 3 Bale Wrapping: This field demo will showcase machinery options and tactics to get your freshly baled forage wrapped and preserved for top quality livestock feed.

Spring Tillage Demonstrations

What is the best way to prepare your field for planting? What options are available, and which is ideal: cultivators, discs or harrows? To find out how to create the perfect seed bed for your crops, make sure to stop by the Spring Tillage Demonstration to see the newest technology in spring field preparation.

Material Handling Rides & Drives

Why not try before you buy? Stop by the Material Handling Ride & Drive along 11th Lane to take the machine of your choice for a test run.

Telehandlers: Multipurpose telehandlers can lift, move and place gravel, lumber, palletized loads and much more. Visit the field demo to learn firsthand how useful telehandlers can be on your farm.

Skid steer and compact loaders: Moving dirt and rocks is a regular job on the farm – jobs a skid steer or compact loader can handle with ease. And with so many attachments available, you can take care of all sorts of other jobs as well.

Sprayer Ride & Drives

Don’t miss this popular Ride & Drive experience at the Southwest Demo Field where you can examine sprayers from a variety of companies, drive them around a 1,500-foot field and get answers to all your questions from knowledgeable staff.
